Making Memories

I love taking pictures and making memories of the boys, such as outings we have, special occasions, travels etc. When I look back I don't think I took as many pictures as I should of when they were babies which I do regret, although I do have some on a hard drive I need to dig up, as I think I have a new favourite way of looking back at the memories our family make rather than looking on my computer, phone etc....

I still do print pictures off the old fashion way to have albums but this time I decided to create photo books. It seems fitting to show off my new cameras skills.

I ordered two as a trial because I wasn't sure if quality and effort would be put into them. To me they look amazing. The quality of the hard back and the pages is excellent and of course the quality of my printed photos are brill.

This is my new obsession so I will definitely be making more, so I can look back at the memories we make and also share them with family and friends.

Update on Planning - Toad Diaries & Visual Planning

Hey!

Just updating this post as I have just received some really pretty diaries Im itching to use. There from a company called Toad Diaries They specialise in personalised diaries for everyday and for bloggers.

If anyone has an issue with remembering, tasks, appointments or things you need to do daily or things you may need to pick up, then your exactly like me! 

My memory is terrible, one minute I tell myself to do something, next minute I have completely forgotten. I am easily distracted too and my trail of thought completely goes. As I am also dyslexic trying to remember and juggle things is very difficult.

I ordered two copies: 1 for now till December with a column each for me and the boys, and then for for 2017 with the same columns but the baby sharing one with me.

I love the family planner I chose as I can write what exactly everyone is doing without getting confused. I did request a yellow paged diary as it is extremely helpful with my dyslexia and yellow backed paper helps me read a lot easier, but unfortunately there must of been a mix up, and as I am eager to start filling in, I don't really want to wait around for new ones to arrive.

I also have a weekly visual planner I got in Asda.

A Whiteboard Weekly Planner

This is perfect for anyone like me as it is visible at all times. No checking your phone reminders or digging in your bag for your diary, this is directly in front of you for a refresh everyday.

It comes with 4 pens all with rubbers on the end and 8 magnets. Each day has its own section for you to fit plenty inside the boxes.

I jazzed it up a bit with some stickers and got the boys involved to help me decorate..

I suggest to anyone that is going to purchase, to put it somewhere convenient for you, for example by the front door before you leave. My resides in the kitchen where I spend a lot of my time, especially as first thing in the morning Im in there, so you have that constant reminder.

Gruffalo Trail

Happy end of half term lol!

During the past two weeks the boys and I have done a number of things/activities throughout, but one of my favourite outings was the Gruffalo Trail at Thorndon North Park in Brentwood Essex.

I highly recommend as it is completely free - (Just car park fee £1 & Trail Map 50p)

Its a beautiful forest and it made me realise how beautiful nature is!
