Apologies for the lack of posts! this pregnancy has made me a lazy cow!
I have a lovely festive but also educational idea for the kiddies that can be exciting for the build up to xmas or perfect to put inside their xmas eve box.
So I have received some personalised books called 'The Magic Chair' there a 4 editions to it, but as it tis nearly the season I have 'The Search For Santa'
The book is about an enchanted chair that takes you on enchanted adventures, each edition is made to fit its theme, in this case, The Search for Santa is about:

What is also lovely is that you personalise the character to suit your child, so gender, skin tone, hair colour/type and eyes. You also get to write a personalised message on the front if you like too.
I just love the fact that its personalised on the front of the book as well as throughout the book, so it should really fixate and engage them throughout the whole book. I also think depending on age group that will it will also help their vocabulary and pick up new words especially as my boys are learning to read. The book is designed for 0-8 years so whether or not they are reading it with you, its still a lovely story to be read to them.
The books comes wrapped with their names on, the colours and illustrations are just amazing and eye catching. I do suggest once read they are put away out of reach as the type of paper can easily pick up dirt or if a spillage is made on it it will stain and possibly rip.
I have not shown the boys the books yet but I really cant wait, I know they are gonna love them, I definitely will need to get the original book so they have the non xmas theme to read about themselves having exciting adventures!
